Utility Billing




The City of Lancaster's Bureau of Treasury manages approximately 85,000 utility and tax accounts for City property taxes, Stormwater Management, Water and Sewer, and Solid Waste & Recycling services. Account management responsibilities include data entry, billing, collection, and documentation of payments, and pursuing collection of delinquent accounts.
Each year, the Bureau responds to more than 100,000 telephone and email inquiries and processes over 500,000 payment transactions. The Bureau offers paperless billing options for utilities to reduce overall volumes of printing and mailing
and has online payment options for customers.
